From single crowns to complete bridges: sharing tips and tricks when it comes to the timeframes for implants prosthetics.
Training sessionsDecember 2018Implant treatments are now highly predictable.
Final prosthetic restorations are often simple to perform and to explain to the patient.
The main challenge facing the practitioner is the time required for the healing phase following surgery (grafts, implant osseointegration, etc.). This period of time can be an obstacle or, on the contrary, a factor which encourages patients to agree to treatment.
The various options available in our “tool box” must be chosen and implemented wisely to optimise the final treatment.
During this Study Club evening event, we will share tips and tricks to optimise the making of temporary pre-implant prosthesis, whether they are removable or fixed.
Using illustrations, we will discuss the practical implications of the various clinical stages involved in temporary prosthesis implants. From single crowns to treatment for edentulous patients, we will try to answer clinical questions so that you can begin to offer these procedures from the very next day.
A video which was filmed at the practice will be used during the event, showing treatment involving immediate extraction and implant placement. This procedure has become my “gold standard” for aesthetic tooth replacements.
To ensure that this event is useful for everyone, the creation of temporary dentures will be addressed, along with conventional techniques and the use of all the latest 3D digital technologies (CBCT, optical impression scanner).
